India’s first multi-designer house of jewelry that is couture inspired and consciously made
Aulerth is a semi-precious, sustainable jewelry brand that opened its doors to Hyderabad this January. It has collaborated with leading couturiers like Ekaya Banaras, Suneet Varma, JJ Valaya, Shivan & Narresh and Tribe Amrapali.
Founder and CEO Vivek Ramabhadran says that the store showcases jewelry made of base metals which are recycled after industrial use and stones that carry minimal to zero mining footprint.
The jewelry includes necklaces, earrings, headwear, and nose rings. JJ Valaya’s collection is a fusion between the old and the new, similarly the delicate Ekaya Banaras showcases traditional work juxtaposed with geometric shapes. Shivan & Narresh are the most fashion forward of them all, while with Suneet Varma and Tribe Amrapali we see a more Mughal and heritage-inspired traditional jewelry form.
The colors of the jewelry pieces vary from a standard red and green to a colorful pastel palette. The piece that we could not take our eyes off was Tribe Amrapali’s colorful Valley of Flowers choker that doubles as two varied bracelets.
Interestingly “The Aulerth Loop” is a circular model that enables you to exchange, restore and rent jewelry for a short-term.
