A charming new café to enjoy an evening with friends

The Beanery Café sits quietly nestled amidst a row of other eateries on the bustling streets of Film
Nagar. Located on the first floor, the two-month-old nook has a chic aesthetic and is covered in hues of
green, cream and rust brown. The café’s interior is further accentuated by the golden daylight seeping in
through large floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the city.
As soon as we entered, friendly staff welcomed us in and showed us to a table not too far away from the
dessert counter and a small stage for evening entertainment. The weekdays see musicians like Balia
Lima and Illana taking on karaoke nights, and the weekends have sets by Telugu stand-up comedians like
Anudeep Katikala.
With help from the manager, Robin Balmiki, we ordered ourselves some of the best The Beanery Café
has to offer. It includes beverages, a Cappuccino and the yummy Strawberry Milkshake. From the
starters and mains we chose Tbc Special Chicken and Paneer Pop Bombs; a filling sandwich in Pesto
Panini with Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato; a heavy dish in Chicken Lasagna. For dessert we had a colorful
collection of French Macaroons alongside the delightfully squishy Mix Berry Bomb.
We enjoyed every dish served, but the highlights for us remain the Tbc Special Chicken, which includes a
blend of chicken with za’atar spice, marinated with sun-dried hummus; the Pesto Panini with Fresh
Mozzarella and Tomato, made with pesto marinated mozzarella, tomatoes and panini bread; and finally,
the Mix Berry Bomb, made with blueberry and mixed berry compote and white chocolate mousse. The
fun dessert was the perfect way to end our lunch.
